-Why do you think sex seems to be such a big topic with teenagers?

-What do you think makes people married in God's eyes?

-Why do you think God said people should only have sex in marriage? Is he right?

-What is so bad about A&F's catalogue? As a teenager, are you offended?


A few scriptures...
1 Corinthians 6:12-20
When you unite yourself sexually with someone else you become one flesh with them, you need to honor God with your body, he bought you at a price.

Genesis 2:20b-24
The uniting of a man and woman into one flesh is the seal of marriage in God's eyes, creating this seal without the bond of commitment is adultery.

Hebrews 13:4-5
Marriage should be honored by all and the marriage bed should be kept pure. God will judge those who don't keep it this way.

Matthew 5:27-30
Lust is the same as adultery, these issues are more than just physical, they are issues of the heart, God does not just desire for us to not have sex till we are married, it is greater than that, he desires for us to be pure our entire lives.

Understanding Your Teenager: A nice website with good information for parents, including parenting tips and dates for parenting seminars. This website also has several good links to other parenting pages.

Answers in Genesis: A website designed to help you find answers about Creation Vs. Evolution. Very helpful in discussing this prevalent issue with your students as they are challenged with it in school.
